Maximizing your Transformation with Weigh-In Wednesdays

Writer's picture: Melissa PowellMelissa Powell

When I started my body transformation last year, I had a love/hate relationship with the scale. I found that after an entire year, the number of LBS hadn't changed that much and actually fluctuated quite a bit, BUT when I did a side by side photo comparison the changes were there.

So, I have some friendly advice for anyone looking to make a body transformation:

  1. Find a scale that measures more than just weight. I love the renpho, which measures ,many metric such as BMI and visceral fat.

  2. Choose one day a week to use your scale-hop on after using the restroom first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything.

  3. Use a tape measure to measure target areas, record and measure every 3 weeks.

  4. Take progress photos.

  5. Most importantly understand that body change takes time- so give yourself grace if it doesn't happen over night.
